Center for Strategic Studies is a leading Scientific-research institution in the country which was founded in the first year after Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan by a group of handful professors and scholars, based on a clear logic and rational method at the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan.
New trends in foreign policy and their deep impacts on all other dimensions, especially to the national interests and security, have doubled the importance of research on this field. This resulted to the interest of diplomacy institution seeking to promote the knowledge and research in the area of foreign policy as supporting factor beside the Ministry. Therefore, this Center in the area of Scientific-research tries to give a scientific assessment for the foreign policy complexities, investigates the political and security problems and crises in the present world and also study the influences of the opposite factors to the foreign policy, Strategic exchange of Afghanistan foreign policy in the social, economic process of the region and glob. Thus, seeking a knowledge-oriented diplomacy to promote better output is the main objective.
The Strategic Center focusing in conflation of the science and practice in the political field, will present its achievements to the politicians and policy makers in order to help them to generalize for a better decision makings in the field of foreign policy.
